About Shelly
Shelly Lemman is a business owner, workforce development professional, and lifelong community advocate who believes strong cities aren’t built in boardrooms — they’re built by neighbors who show up and do the work.
For years, Shelly has put that belief into action. Through her work connecting Texans with disabilities to meaningful employment, she has helped individuals and families earn independence, stability, and a foothold in the workforce. It’s the kind of practical, people-first leadership she’s ready to bring to City Council.
Shelly’s community roots run deep. She has served on the PTA Board, the Education Foundation Board, and the HEB Chamber of Commerce Board, and is a proud member of Rotary. Whether she’s at a ribbon-cutting or a school board meeting, Shelly leads the same way; with her boots on the ground and her door open.
As a mother of five, Shelly knows firsthand the challenges working families face every day. She is running for City Council to champion strong public schools, expand workforce training opportunities, and deliver the practical, common-sense solutions that help real communities thrive.
